The company owners grew up in villages near Visoko, surrounded by sheep. It was part of everyday life. As they grew older, both went their separate ways — their own businesses, different kinds of responsibilities.
Years later, they started working with Romanov sheep — learning about the breed, its care, and everything professional breeding requires. Over time, it grew into something more serious.
Vi-Roman didn't start as a business plan — it grew out of a shared decision to turn something they loved into something they do seriously. Everyone has their role, and everyone is in it because they want to be.
From day one, Nermin and Senad had a clear principle: if we're going to do this, we're going to do it right.
That means tracking every animal from birth, documenting every birth, and making data-driven decisions. With continuous collaboration with veterinarians, nutritionists, and experienced breeders, every decision is made with full insight.
We believe that quality breeding doesn't happen overnight. It comes from patience, good decisions, and a willingness to learn from mistakes. Every generation of sheep in our flock is a step forward — and that's progress that can be measured, not just felt.
We're not rushing. We're building something that will last.

To build a flock with the highest quality and documented genetics in the region. A flock where every animal has a clear story behind it, and where that story can be verified.
Long-term, we want to be a partner to serious breeders. People you can message to get honest advice. A farm you can visit, see how we work, and leave with the confidence of knowing exactly what you're buying.
Today, Vi-Roman is a registered breeding farm in Visoko, focused exclusively on Czech Romanov genetics. We track every animal, document every birth, and each season we are a little better than the last. That's what we're working on.

Come to the farm and see how we work. Visits are always welcome by appointment.
